My first season at a community garden changed how I view art, nature, and connection. As my plot began to bloom, I brought my sketchbook to the garden daily, drawing my own flowers alongside those grown by neighboring gardeners. These sketches are inspired by the flowers in the garden and those I brought home with me to fill my home with color.
