Lemons & Cherries

During the cold Michigan winter, I started drawing pages of lemons in my journal. Likely because they signify warmth and sun to me, so it was an easy escape. This summer, I turned my eye towards a new fruit that is a true sign of summer in Michigan - cherries. We traveled up to Traverse City during the National Cherry Festival and cherries were everywhere you looked. On clothes, in pies, and even works of art.
