Travel Paintings

When I travel, I document the daily life and local landscape of our destination through small paintings and journal work. These paintings tell a story - capturing a moment in time. Each travelers’ experience is different but my work seeks to connect the familiarity of wonder we all feel when traveling and escaping to a new world. I use colorful palettes, mark making and ink to convey a sense of time and place, Below are a selection of my travel watercolor paintings.
